Over my lifetime people have always shared with me the importance of staying flexible.  As a young child and on into my early 20’s flexibility came naturally.  But, an injury to my spine caused me to move with less agility.  Thanks to a suggestion by a chiropractor in Hawaii, Dr. Allen Creed, when I was in my mid 20’s to start a steady practice of yoga.  Now almost 40 years later my mobility is better than when I was in my 20’s and my back is pain free.   Doing the splits is not mandatory for practicing yoga, but you may just surprise yourself!
